I finally splashed out on the Stussy and Mountain Hardwear Subzero Down Puffer Jacket, and honestly, it’s worth every single penny. This isn’t just streetwear; this is proper, expedition-grade kit. The 650-fill down is absolutely toasty you could wear this up Ben Nevis in a blizzard and be fine. What makes it bang on is the material: the Pertex ripstop outer shell is both water-resistant and feels incredibly durable. I love that they’ve put reinforced nylon overlay on the shoulders and sleeves it means it can take a proper beating when you’ve got a pack on. All the zip pockets are secure and the adjustable cuffs are spot on for sealing in the warmth. It’s got that classic puffy look, but the fit is still clean, not overly baggy. This jacket is the governor for surviving the winter in style. Five stars, no messing about.
